Role: I am Head of Communications for EdTech Hub. Based outside of Washington, D.C., I lead a marvelous international team of passionate, multi-talented, generous communicators. I'm responsible for elevating the visibility and access of the evidence EdTech Hub creates and collects, and ideally doing it in a spiffy way.
Background: I specialize in nonprofit and partnership communications and marketing with an affinity for end-user engagement, stakeholder outreach and movement-building. With more than 20 years in the field, I've worked on issues ranging from U.S. children’s poverty, education, hunger, land conservation and preservation, transportation reform, mental health policy, arts advancement and global women’s rights.
Fun Fact: I have a certificate in French pastry technique from Le’ Académie de Cuisine and can (purposefully) execute a "Rockford" maneuver in a Honda Civic. Both skills have their uses in making life more fun.
