University of Cambridge

Brief info

Role: I am a research associate based in the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge, where I am involved in a range of the Hub’s research activities. One of my major recent outputs was a rapid evidence review on the use of WhatsApp and other messaging apps in education, as part of our Covid-19 response.

Background: I have been working as a researcher with a focus on EdTech since 2005. Before joining the Hub, I was a visiting research fellow in the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University, where I also completed my PhD.

Fun Fact: I am fairly knowledgeable about antiques; I worked in an antiques shop for five years.
