Role: I am part of the Helpdesk Management team where I support the EdTech Hub in offering evidence-based assistance to global education leaders and practitioners working on topics related to education technology.
Background: Before my work in the EdTech Hub community, I worked at the Population Council’s GIRL Center where I supported the maintenance and management of a large online repository of international girls’ education programming and policy initiatives. I also contributed to global landscape mapping of gender-focused public and private education interventions. I previously worked at the Brookings Institution’s’ Center for Universal Education on research related to US education policy, global girls’ education, and climate change education. I earned my master’s in Educational Policy Studies with a concentration in comparative and international education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before entering the international education space, I worked in gender equity focused global public health research largely focused on early marriage, reproductive health, and health education.
Fun fact: I have hiked the John Muir trail in the Sierra Nevada region of California and love the outdoors!
