Brief info

Role: I work on the EdTech Hub’s research team. We are currently writing a systematic literature review on teacher professional development, and our research examines how technology can be used to improve both teacher and student learning in LMICs.

Background: I became involved with EdTech Hub when I was a PhD student at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Education and the Research in Equitable Access and Learning (REAL) Centre. I am currently based in the Dominican Republic and working as a consultant for various projects aiming to improve equity in education, particularly in relation to age, gender, disability, and refugee status.

Fun Fact: I’m an avid football (soccer) player! I’ve played for the Dominican national team and was the first woman at Queens’ College (Cambridge) to be awarded a Blues for the University football team.
