AI in global education is set to widen the digital divide unless we design for the alternative from the outset.

While there is existing funding being directed towards proof of concepts and specifically applications in the classroom, the work we’re setting out to do here focuses on the underpinning enabling environment of these products.

Through this EdTech Hub will help equip education decision-makers to navigate towards a future where AI is used in ways that help to address the global learning crisis.

The AI Observatory is asking and answering three questions:

1 – What’s (not) happening today?

2 – Where is this all going?

3 – What can we try to make this future more equitable?
