Our Teams

EdTech Hub brings together experts from Brink, Jigsaw, Open Development & Education (OpenDevEd), Results for Development (R4D) and the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education.

We collaborate with decision makers, governments and EdTech specialists around the world to help solve the global learning crisis.

Together, every decision our teams make takes us closer to our goal: to empower people by giving them the evidence they need to make decisions about technology in education.

Directors

Directors lead the programme’s vision and work to leverage our commitment to evidence-building in EdTech for a more equitable future for all learners.

Research, Country Engagement, Helpdesk and Innovation

Research

There is a lack of rigorous evidence about how technology can improve learning, teaching, and strengthen systems in low-and middle-income countries. Our Research Team are here to fill that gap.

Country Engagement

The Country Engagement Team works in partnership with country stakeholders such as the government and donors to help them implement EdTech solutions more effectively.

Helpdesk

The Helpdesk Team manage requests for short-term support to FCDO Education Advisers, World Bank Staff and UNICEF staff who work closely with ministries of education in low-and middle-income countries.

Innovation

The EdTech Hub Innovation Team utilises innovative approaches to research, such as the sandbox approach, to enhance access and use of EdTech in low-and middle-income countries.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Adaptation

This is the knowledge management team, which drives the learning agenda, ensures EdTech Hub realises the impact of its funding and implements data systems that make data collection and analysis easier.

Communications

The Communications Team promotes and drives the vision of EdTech Hub by extending the reach of our global work.

Operations

The Operations Team facilitates efficient and transparent spend and ensures the programme run smoothly. The Operations Team also looks after finance, central services and programme management.
