Annette Zhao

Jigsaw

Brief info

Role: I am primarily involved in research at the Hub, working on different projects to gather and build evidence for effective decision-making in EdTech. I also contribute to the discussion on methodological approaches, especially quantitative methods in research.

Background: I have a background in academic research (quantitative sociolinguistics specifically) and have previously worked as both a research fellow and a lecturer in UK higher education before joining Jigsaw and EdTech Hub. I am passionate about understanding and improving social (in)equality in different forms, especially in non-Western societies.

Fun Fact: I love different languages and different scripts and I have been playing rugby for 8 years!
