Role: Co-Country Lead (Sierra Leone)

Background: After completing my MSc in Statistics in 2019, I moved to Freetown, Sierra Leone from the UK where I began tutoring maths to students age 11 and up. In August 2020, prior to this role, I worked at the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education in Sierra Leone as a Data Analyst in the Minister's Delivery Team. I worked in this position for 18 months before moving to EdTech Hub through Open Development and Education.

Take a look at some of the projects I have participated in:

Fun Fact: My undergraduate degree is in maths but I spent a lot of time in the music department during school. I played the clarinet and sang throughout secondary school and sixth form. I was even asked to start a gospel choir to sing Beyonce's "Halo" at a teachers wedding.
