Role:I am Country Lead for Pakistan. I have been part of the Hub’s specialist network for the last one and a half years. Recently, I also joined Hub’s engagement team for Pakistan. I support Hub’s work in Pakistan, mainly with the ministry of federal education and professional training, the government of Pakistan and UNICEF, Pakistan. I am also contributing to the Hub’s helpdesk work related to Pakistan.

Background: Imdad has over 18-years of experience in Education and International Development. He is recognised for designing and leading the implementation of large-scale, cross-sector projects in pre-K, primary and higher education, girls’ education, vocational training, EdTech, and entrepreneurship. Along with this, he has in-depth knowledge of education systems in Pakistan and has provided leadership to various education policy reform initiatives. His expertise and core areas of interest include education research, designing and implementing technology enabled instructional programmes, education policy reforms, teacher learning, programme implementation, student assessment, monitoring, and evaluation.
