Role: As Senior Manager, Project Delivery, I provide operational systems leadership across the hub and manage portfolios within the Engagement team, including leading our work in the East and Southeast Asia regions and managing the Specialist Network.

Background: Prior to the EdTech Hub, I worked with governments to increase their use of evidence in policy-making and scale innovations. This includes, most recently, helping to launch the GSA Evaluation Division within the US federal government. My experience managing and leading “research to practice” projects spans the private, public, and academic sectors and includes areas in education such as language acquisition, behavioral science, EdTech, teacher wellbeing, and early childhood and socio-emotional development. I started my career as an educator and teacher mentor, launching a language program while building out a school in an under-resourced district. This experience cultivated a deep belief in the importance of culturally responsive instruction, and continues to ground my work helping country leaders develop systems and policies that serve all learners and empower teachers.

Fun Fact: I studied music composition in college and played the Erhu in Chinese orchestras for over six years.
