Everyone is chasing productivity right now. What we haven’t talked about enough is what this is doing to entry-level jobs. It’s easier and faster to hand a junior staffer’s work to AI, and companies are doing exactly that. Junior job postings fell 7% last year while senior roles grew. So I was glad to see leaders calling for caution in this article. Entry-level jobs are where judgment is built and where future leaders come from. Cut them, and you’re trading short-term gains for a broken talent pipeline. And the cost falls hardest on those without networks. This demands strategic thinking, not efficiency reflexes.”
