Utafiti Elimu Tanzania 2025

Elevating Education Evidence in Tanzania

25 - 26 February 2025 │Institute of Tourism — SUZA Maruhubi, Zanzibar

Summary ➜

Tanzania’s education research ecosystem is constantly evolving, requiring strong connections between research, policy, and practice. The annual Utafiti Elimu Tanzania conference was established to bridge this gap by fostering collaboration among key stakeholders. Utafiti Elimu Tanzania, meaning “Education Research Tanzania” in Swahili, brings together policymakers, government officials, national and international researchers, development partners, and education programme implementers. This evidence-driven, solution-oriented conference serves as a platform for sharing insights, sparking innovation, and shaping policies that improve education outcomes across the country.

Utafiti Elimu is a two-day event at the State University of Zanzibar, bringing together government and education leaders to explore how evidence can drive meaningful change. Grounded in the country’s priorities, our discussions will focus on real-world challenges and opportunities, with a goal of turning insights into action.

Utafiti Elimu Tanzania is an invite-only event.
