Bio
I am the EdTech and AI Policy Lead at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), based in the Girls’ Education Department, which I joined in April 2024. I’m responsible for policy development and oversight of the EdTech Hub’s AI Observatory and Action Lab.
Before joining the FCDO, I spent five years as a secondary school English teacher before moving into the UK Civil Service in 2017. Since then, I’ve worked on local authority safeguarding initiatives, managed national education projects, and contributed to a major department’s delivery unit.
